Mobile number portability allows any subscriber of a telecommunications network operator to keep the same phone number when changing operators.
In this context, ARTCI is conducting this public consultation to gather the opinions of telecommunications network operators, consumers, and other interested parties on the feasibility of implementing number portability in the national market.

All contributions to this public consultation must be submitted no later than February 17, 2013, preferably in a Word file format:

a) either by email to the following address: consultationpublique@artci.ci;

b) or by mail to the following address: Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications/ICT of Côte d’Ivoire (ARTCI), Marcory Anoumabo, 18 BP 2203 Abidjan 18

Documents submitted in response to this call for comments must clearly indicate in the subject line: “Public Consultation on Mobile Number Portability”.
