On the sidelines of the 9th RAPDP Conference, the Chair of the ARTCI Regulatory Council, Mr. Roger Félix ADOM, held a meeting on May 20, 2026, with a delegation of chairs of African personal data protection authorities, led by Mr. Adamou IRO, Chair of Niger’s High Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (HAPDP) and of the RAPDP.

This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss challenges related to personal data protection, digital governance, and strengthening cooperation among African data protection authorities.
